A Fashion Shoes is consist of eight parts. They are sole, in sole, outsole, midsole, heel, vamp / upper, lateral / medial, welt. Here I will introduce the more details to you.

First, it is sole. It is easy to understand that is the bottom of a shoe.

Second is the insole. We also call it the archsupport or shoe insert. As we all know, the insole is the interior bottom of a shoe. The purpose of insole is to attach to the lasting margin of the upper, which is wrapped around the last during the closing of the shoe at the lasting operation.

Third is the outsole. It is the layer that directly contact with the ground. This component is often made from leather or resin rubber.

Forth one is midsole. It is the layer between outsole and insole and that is typically for the shock absorption. It is mainly beneath the heel of one’s foot, where one puts the most pressure down.

Fifth is the heel. This part is the bottom rear part of a shoe. The function is to support the heel of foot. To add the height of heel can make an individual looks taller, or flat for a more comfortable and practical use. The high heel is the fashion style.

Sixth component is vamp / upper. Also a indispensible part for a shoe. It helps to keep the foot in shoes. Some shoes have a more complex upper, like trainers, boots, most men’s shoes. The upper is often decorated something, and looked more attractive.

Seventh is lateral / medial. The outside part of the shoe is referred to as the lateral and the inside facing part of the shoe is the medial. This can be in reference to either the outsole or the vamp.

Eighth is the welt. It is the main arcticle of a shoe. A welt is a strip of leather, rubber, or plastic that is stitched to the upper and insole of a shoe, as an attach-point for the sole.
